There is a place on the river Marne, which is favored by Parisian recreational kayakers.

The former chocolate factory Noisiel was energized by a dam on the Marne, by diverting part of the flow locally to power the hydraulic Mill installed along the river.

This device and the dam is still in place.

Dam with a height of ten meters, causing his foot in a strong current tumultuous popular for kayaks that are training regularly Weekend.
