The Sow Thistle - Sonchus arvensis - Cichoriaceae (Compositae), its botanical names - grows everywhere (path, vineyards, fields, rubble) and is distinguished by its yellow flowers and white egrets that envollent wind . Plant modest one of its varieties formerly cultivated as a salad. The name 'sow' comes from the fact that the broken stem exudes a milky sap (as many salads and dandelions ...).
